Planning

Drafting and conducting investigation programmes

One of our core competencies at 3G is conducting geological field mapping. With the exception of construction projects in built-up urban areas, this is the most important and at the same time most cost-effective element of an investigation programme.

Depending on the type of project and project phase, we plan the programmes required for soil investigation so that we can answer specific questions. Investigation programmes include elements such as:

Evaluating existing documents and aerial and satellite images
Field mapping
Test excavations
Different types of drilling and sounding
Geophysical investigations
On-site and laboratory tests

We prepare the necessary technical specifications and tender documents for all the elements of an investigation programme. We also take over the technical support (construction supervision) during execution.
